I remember the first time I ever did a "google" search. The website was as basic as it gets, but produced results that far surpassed my expectations.
Today, you can access practically anything you need within just a few clicks.
Gmail at one time was an all exclusive email. You had to be "invited" by another gmailer before you could open an account. Needless to say, I was thriller when I got my invite. Gmail, to me, is the premier free provider. If you use Firefox, you can download addons that make it even more user friendly.
I, for one, am hooked on Google, IGoogle, & Gmail.
